CHARACTERISTIC
Crane pulley block is one of the core components of lifting machinery, mainly composed of pulley, bearing, bracket, wire rope and lubrication system. Its core function is to change the traction direction of the wire rope to achieve labor saving or speed increase effect, thereby improving the load capacity and work efficiency of the crane. Pulleys are usually made of high-strength alloy steel or nylon composite materials to adapt to different working environments and load requirements.
Crane pulley blocks can be divided into fixed pulleys (fixed position, only changing the direction of force) and movable pulleys (moving with the load, which can save effort). According to the usage scenario, it can also be subdivided into single-wheel, double-wheel or multi-wheel combinations, such as balance pulley blocks, guide pulley blocks, etc. For example, tower cranes often use multi-wheel pulley blocks to lift heavy objects, while port gantry cranes use large-diameter pulley blocks to reduce wire rope wear.
To ensure the long-term and stable operation of the pulley block, it is necessary to regularly check the pulley groove wear, bearing lubrication and wire rope matching. If cracks, deformation or abnormal noise are found in the pulley, the machine should be stopped for inspection immediately. At the same time, pulleys that match the diameter of the wire rope should be selected to avoid increased wear due to too small or too large rope grooves. In addition, the design and installation of the pulley block must comply with national standards such as the "Crane Design Code" (GB/T 3811) to ensure safety and reliability.
APPLICATION
The hoisting mechanism of the QDY crane can also be used as a reference for other wire rope winch mechanisms that require safety brakes.
